My Bedroom Makeover

So, some have asked to see pictures of my bedroom makeover and I finally got the final curtain rod hung up last night. So, here are the before:

It's a little cluttered still, but you get the idea. I need to find to side tables for the room. I want to use African drums or something like that. I also want to find some artwork for the walls. I've thought about putting pictures of the boys in there but I'm not sure yet.

Yes, you read that right!! I'm packing my bags because I'm heading to NYC!!! OK, so maybe I'm not packing my bags just yet, but that's where I'm headed!! We fly out on March 16th and come back on March 20th. We're staying at the 3-star Hotel 373 Fifth Avenue which is just one block from the Empire State Building. We're having dinner at Tavern on the Green on Monday night. One day will be shopping at Woodbury Premium Outlets. We also have a 2 day New York Pass where we can get into all the "touristy" things like the Statue of Liberty, etc.

I am so excited!! I almost want to jump up and down like a little girl!! We got an amazing deal on this trip!! I'm telling you that this is a reward for submitting to my husband back in September. Now just pray we don't get stuck in any traffic so Aaron enjoys himself (wink, wink)!!
